Supper Club was created with the intention of bringing folks together to connect with their food, themselves, and each other.

Waking up, coming out of hibernation.

Join holistic nutritionist Genevieve Kang (CNP) of KIKAN for an evening of nourishing food, community, and education.

Together, we’ll celebrate the transition from winter to spring with a curated menu that draws inspiration from Genevieve's Asian heritage. Gather around the table for a fun and lively communal dining experience: a hot pot feast!

This dinner will feature an abundance of local and seasonal ingredients, along with creative adaptations to some of Genevieve’s favourite flavours from childhood. In addition, we'll explore how consuming foods from our ancestors and other cultures can impact our overall wellbeing.

Guests will also enjoy kombucha made exclusively by our sponsor Culture Craft Kombucha, as well as non-alcoholic wine courtesy of our friends at Sansorium.

Easing In

umami rice paper puffs

beet sashimi with pickled shallot

gem lettuce and baby napa salad with watercress, daikon, furikake and ume plum vinaigrette

The Main Event

hot pot with kombu mushroom broth, seasonal vegetables, organic chicken, mung bean vermicelli and purple yam noodles

served with sides, sauces, and seasonings:

  • maple hoisin, hot tahini, tamari vinegar with sesame

  • pickled kohlrabi and daikon, fresh herbs

  • toasted sesame seeds and salty cashews

black sesame mochi with frozen sweet potato, honeycomb, bee pollen

*All dishes are gluten- and dairy-free. This menu offers options that include animal products. Guests are given the choice to select their personal preference, either 'omnivore' or 'herbivore,' when reserving seats.

The curated menu is designed and prepared by Genevieve with purpose and intention. Throughout the evening, she will be sharing stories about her inspiration for this menu and the event theme as a whole. She will be highlighting the nutritional benefits of key ingredients, while emphasizing the importance of communal eating and respecting the food of our ancestors and the cycles of nature.

The dialogue is open. Questions, conversations, and laughter are encouraged.

Genevieve is a holistic nutritionist (CNP), wellness consultant, and actor based in the Pacific Northwest. She is the founder of KIKAN, a modern holistic lifestyle brand whose commitment is to make good health more accessible and to redefine what it means to be well.
