In this watercolor workshop on Travel Journaling, we'll be learning how to easily and beautifully capture memories from all your adventures! Join me at The Wayback boutique hotel for a morning of creative discovery. As part of this workshop you'll be working in and receiving a pocket-sized, watercolor travel journal to take with you on the go! Taking inspiration from our Hill Country surroundings, we'll be working on gestural drawings and ways to capture the essence of place through watercolor. While it's not necessary, if you'd like to document one of your own previous trips, feel free to bring a few mementos (small photos, ticket stubs, etc). Otherwise, I'll have plenty of ideas &amp; supplies ready for you!

Hey there! I'm Madison Popkess (but you can call me Maddy). I'm a watercolor artist in Austin, TX, serving those who seek a creative lifestyle. 

Hosting watercolor workshops has been a wonderful way to encourage creative rest and connection with others. If that's something you're looking for, I hope you'll join me at a workshop!

Xanthe is a Content Strategist, Educator, and Creator, living in Los Angeles. Alongside her husband, Frank, Xanthe leads Oh Sierra, a multi-faceted brand with a mission to help aspiring creative leaders harness the potent power of community, online and IRL. Oh Sierra delivers on that promise through content marketing and brand image consulting, hosting collaborative events, sharing education, and cultivating creative spaces – from unique rental properties to their online membership community, The Table.

Coach & consultant for creative and intentional entrepreneurs. My goal is to make your business more sustainable, more expansive, and more fun for you by streamlining your systems, improving your customer experience, and updating your unhelpful limiting beliefs. I am the host of Learn With Shopify and have taught classes in partnership with Creative Mornings and Make Lemonade. I'm also the host of the podcast Slowpreneur: Business without the Busy, which aims to spark conversations about new ways of living and working. 


Let’s just say there’s no one way to define me. I’ve been called a merchandising executive, entrepreneur, brand builder, mom, coach, and ambitious goal-setter. 

Two decades of moving up the corporate ladder and building two businesses from the ground up have taught me one of the most challenging lessons: 

There is no predefined path to personal and professional success.

Early on, life threw some major curveballs, turning my world upside down many times. But it was the awakening I never knew I needed.

“I should own a house by now.”
“I should have a family by now.”
“I should be a VP by now.”

I stopped living by patriarchal societal rules and quickly realized they never served me in the first place.

Instead, I began to live and breathe from a space of intuition and self-awareness - where it matters less what you’re doing and more how you feel when you’re doing it. 

And along the unpaved road to rediscover my spark, I realized I want to help others unsettle their status quo, experience growth and move toward their full potential – ultimately, to savour a more fulfilling life.

Through my workshops and programs, you’ll learn to block out the megaphone noise of expectations and assumptions long enough to listen to your inner desires. I can't wait to meet you!

Cody McCallum (she/her) is a professional calligrapher and luxury wedding stationery designer, operating out of her home studio in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Calligraphy began for her as a mindfulness practice, but quickly grew to become her passion, side hustle, and now full-time business. Cody specializes in bringing a personal touch to weddings, events and personal stationery. She also runs public calligraphy workshops and private classes (staff appreciation, mindfulness retreats, birthdays, bachelorette parties and more!)

I love to explore the delightful and pleasantly unpredictable world of watercolour with anyone who loves colour and is curious and open to creating something beautiful. My workshops are beginner-friendly and focus on playful explorations that help introduce you to new materials and techniques. My goal is to give you a finished product that you can be proud of, but even more so, an enjoyable and enriching process where you learn organically and every new discovery sparks a new idea!

Genevieve is a holistic nutritionist (CNP), wellness consultant, and actor based in the Pacific Northwest. She is the founder of KIKAN, a modern holistic lifestyle brand whose commitment is to make good health more accessible and to redefine what it means to be well. Genevieve is passionate about leading others to connect more deeply with themselves and take charge of their wellbeing through simple and effective lifestyle practices, within community.

Victoria has been hosting workshops in Toronto and surrounding areas, Palm Springs, and Ottawa since 2019.

She is a multi-media artist with a passion for crafting of all kinds. Her signature workshops include Cement Planters, Macrame Planters & Ornaments, Polymer Clay Basics, and 'Crafts & Chats'. 

When Victoria isn't planning her next DIY project or workshop, she works 9-5 at a digital advertising agency, is fostering dogs (or playing with her own), or scheming up activities and events for her friends and family. 

Palak is the Head of Events and Partnerships at Hosted Here, and also the creator of Embiria, her personal brand which inspires people to live beautifully, every day through experiences and spaces. She has held over 250+ workshops and events in wellness, creativity and food, and partnered with dozens of incredible brands such as Nespresso, Bumble and Google to curate influencer/media events and public workshops. Her passions include hosting and bringing people together IRL (especially over a delicious meal), exploring the world, and discovering ways to live well.
